Future ways to take this course
Both planned options use the same beginner lessons, coding exercises, and expense-summary project. The December 2026 invited pilot tests the guided option first. Neither option is open for public enrollment yet.
Planned · independent study
Work through recordings, written lessons, Hafa Code practice, checkpoints, and the final project on your own schedule. Ask course questions through CSG Learn during a defined support window.
We plan 12 months of lesson access, plus a defined period for course-question messaging. Private Zoom meetings and individual project review are not included in this planned option. Final price, messaging window, and reply times will be published before enrollment.
Invited pilot first
Use the same lessons and practice, with course messaging plus private instructor meetings and personal feedback on your work.
The adult-only December pilot includes one private Zoom hour each week for three weeks with Leon and individual project review. Later guided runs may use trained instructors; their lesson-access period, schedule, capacity, price, and terms will be posted before enrollment.
CSG Learn will hold course lessons and progress once a learner is invited or enrolled. We are designing future online courses for learners beyond Guam; guided meeting availability will be listed in the learner's local time.
The course map
You'll predict what code does, run it, make a change, and explain the result. Each week ends with a checkpoint. Guided learners can bring their work to a private meeting.

Use lists, loops, dictionaries, and functions to summarize expenses.
You'll have: A data summary with reusable functions
Build and test an expense-summary program yourself. Then explore an optional agent-assisted extension and check its work.
You'll have: A working program you can explain and verify
Inside the guided pilot
The lessons and code practice live in CSG Learn and Hafa Code. In the invited guided pilot, Leon works through your own code with you on Zoom each week, then gives you a concrete next step.
Nine lessons across three weeks, with exercises and weekly checkpoints.
Hafa Code is the starting point. Local Python setup and GitHub are optional.
One private 60-minute session each week, booked from available times in CSG Learn.
